Earlier this year I teamed up with Creative Brides, a fabulously inspirational empire of all things wedding magazine, blog and supplier directory and Eurostar to give away a trip of a lifetime to win an engagement shoot in Paris! The lucky winners received news on Valentine’s Day and we set to work planning Danielle and Jason’s engagement shoot in Paris. It was total luck that they’d actually got engaged in Paris and so we retraced their day in Paris and I felt like there was such great story to tell from our time together. Before the shoot, the wonderful Florist in the Forest offered to make a stunning colour popping floral crown and Whippy Weddings created some bespoke stationery with tickets, luggage tags and a save the date. We arrived at Ashford International to set off before the sunrise and after gassing away on the train like old mates, we arrived in Paris and were treated to the most glorious weather on the day. I’ve picked out a small selection of images from the day and the rest will be revealed in the next Creative Brides Magazine in September! I totally love being just a ten minute walk from Ashford and then being whisked to Paris in under two hours just makes it feel like the day was a dream! I would totally love to shoot more destination engagement shoots and weddings so do drop me a line if you’ve got plans to travel abroad and have the peace of mind for a UK photographer to come with you.
