If you’re planning your destination wedding and are looking for a photographer who will work with you to put your ideas and plans at the heart of your approach, then that is exactly what I offer. I have been lucky enough to shoot across France, Italy, Belgium, Spain and Iceland this year and through my travels and shooting, I have been able to capture some truly special moments.
I love to capture love, chase light and create dreamy, soft, natural images full of emotion that will forever connect you to how you were feeling on your day. I work with you to understand how you would like your photography to fit in with your plans, plan any group shots and understand what you love about each other and your venue which allows me to tell your story honestly and authentically.
I love to tell the story of your whole day, starting around 1.5 hours ahead of leaving for the ceremony, capturing those moments of excitements as preparations build, throughout your day and finishing up with the first few songs of the night when everyone hits the dance floor. I blend in with your guests so that I can shoot discreetly and capture candid images of everyone looking relaxed and happy. I am always thrilled when guests think that I am a friend of yours, a true testament that I slot in and feel at ease with your wedding party.
I work with an assistant who helps me carry kit, find your lovely guests for group shots, work ahead of me to set up flash so we can seamlessly glide through your day and be a general pair of helping hands. I find that I work more discreetly this way too and I am free to capture more precious moments.
My office suite is opposite Ashford International Eurostar terminal connecting me to mainland Europe in no time at all. I can travel to Paris in two hours, Brussels in just over an hour and these hubs mean that I can connect into the Netherlands, Germany and beyond! I live in Ashford, Kent and am only a 10 minute drive to Eurotunnel and 20 minutes to Dover and regularly drive abroad too which affords me great flexibility to travel to your wedding. London Gatwick is 60 miles away and London Stansted is 80 miles away, so I have easy access for destinations that are further afield.
For engagement shoots in Paris, I have access to Eurostar trains that allow me to travel in a day or if you wanted to shoot at sunset and into the evening, one overnight stay would be required. Depending on your ideas and how you’d like your destination engagement shoot captured, I may need to work with an assistant so we can maximise the environment and opportunities that present themselves!
When I shoot weddings abroad, depending on transport and connections, I will travel one day ahead of your wedding and return the day after allowing me to arrive and be fresh and completely dedicated to your day. I keep pricing simple and charge for my day of shooting, plus transport, connections and accommodation.
On the evening of your wedding day, after I have left you to party away, I back up your images and will pick just a few showstoppers for you to get excited about and then the rest of your images are edited within 10 days of your wedding and will be shared with you in your online gallery which guests can buy prints from and you will receive your images on USB just after this. You can expect at least 600 images with a selection in black and white too and these are all provided on your USB in high resolution for you to print, share and upload.
I offer a range of beautiful albums and printed products which you can see by clicking here.
