Have yourself a merry little Christmas…..

Well, 2014 has been a rather epic year for me both personally and professionally. I left my two day a week lecturing job in February to follow my heart and pour all my energy into the lovely weddings I had booked in for 2014. Along the way, I’ve worked with so many wonderful couples and suppliers, many who I look to as friends, I’ve been blessed with travel all over the UK and into France, Iceland, Belgium, Spain, and Tuscany for shoots and moved into my own little office suite in Ashford. I have shot 44 weddings with one more to go on New Year’s Eve and each and every one has been so special and I have felt so thrilled and honoured to be invited to capture them. As I am still shooting, its been a bit to overwhelming to look back at the year that has been a game changer for me. Its hard to explain but I have found my raison d’être with running a business that I am so completely and wonderfully passionate about. So, as Christmas approaches, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has been part of the journey this year, I think of you often and am so grateful for the part in the jigsaw of a beautiful year you’ve created. I am now looking forward to some quality time with my family and friends, catching up, hugging, giggling, muchos merriment and some time to recharge and be rearing to go in 2015.

I also hope that we will have more crisp mornings like last Sunday. The frost and early morning sun were a beautiful gift and I leave you with some seasonal pictures to enjoy. Merry Christmas everyone!

These are AMAZING, Rebecca. I need to get out in our garden and shoot some details. All my garden shots are from the window because I’m a wimp and don’t want to be cold! —RachelReplyCancel
