I love capturing love and once the big day is over my labour of love does not stop there. I get excited about getting home and editing the images. I get even more excited when I post out the images to the wonderful newlyweds and I want the unpacking of the DVDs to feel exciting too. When I introduced my beautiful Luxe Album, I loved unpacking it and pealing back the layers to get to the album. I loved that it was completely eco-friendly and sustainably sourced and these feel good moments have inspired my new packaging.
I have though of ways to personalise the packaging as much as possible and so I use a lyric from your first dance or another memorable moment from the day for the card in the pretty package.
The badges are all made by me too using recycled paper and are presented on a cute little card, wrapped up in an envelop tied with raffia.
With each wedding I usually burn several DVDs so they will come in a keepsake envelop that was in keeping with the packaging if the Luxe Album. These are made with 100% cotton fabric and are fastened with bespoke pin badges, here with the wedding date and a lyric from the couple’s first dance.
The DVDs are housed in rather lovely buff sleeves inside the cotton bag. Then the great pack up begins, storing the precious cargo in a sturdy sustainably sourced box.
So when I say a labour of love, I mean it in the sense that a lot of my handmade loving labour goes into making packaging that has been sustainably sourced and designed just for you and I hope is something that will treasure the memories of your day
