The experience was like a dream, I couldn’t quite believe I was there!!! I felt so comfortable with the shoot even though there were lots of people looking at us!!! My fiancé even enjoyed himself and we had a good giggle whilst shooting. It was a great opportunity for us to see the city as well as have our engagement shoot.” Amanda & Craig – Engagement Shoot Paris – Aug 2012
“Rebecca is a first class photographer with a natural eye for capturing beautiful shots. She has been a pleasure to work with from our first meeting, where she really put us at ease as newcomers to professional photography who didn’t really know what we wanted! She has a real enthusiasm for her work and added many thoughtful touches throughout the time we spent with her, which made her service very personal. She was also very flexible and was happy to accommodate all our requests.
The pre-wedding photo shoot we did with Rebecca was an excellent opportunity have a relaxed session in front of the camera before the wedding day, and I was really pleased with the results, which have given us a whole different angle/style of pictures as keepsakes in addition to the photos from the wedding day itself.
We are very pleased with the photos from the wedding which really tell the story of the day. Rebecca managed to slip in and get many shots that I didn’t notice at the time, which show her eye for detail. It’s also lovely to have the vintage style photographs, as well as the originals, which really soften the shots and really suited our rustic wedding theme. We would certainly recommend Rebecca to anyone who wants a professional, friendly and personal service for their wedding photography.” Felicity Howe, Bride – August 2012
“It was lovely to come home to the discs, they are so much more than we could have imagined. I think narrowing down which ones make it in to our wedding album is going to take some time! The positive feedback has been overwhelming. I can’t thank you enough for making our vision into such beautiful images. You made us feel so relaxed and really brought out the best in us. We are still overwhelmed by how she was able turn our vision into such beautiful images.” Caroline & Glenn, Bride & Groom – July 2012
“We are thrilled with the photos. At the weekend we finally got to meet up with Patrick and Julie (bestman and wife) which was super. They were delighted with the photos, and said what a lovely and professional person you were. Just thought I’d pass it on!” Irena – Bride July 2012
“We have looked through all the images now. We are so so pleased. We really cannot thank you enough. They are everything we wanted and more! Ahh, you have made my day! ^.^ We really cannot recommend you enough.” Josie & Nick – Bride & Groom June 2012
“Rebecca Douglas provides an awesome service for your special day; the photos she took for my sister’s wedding were amazing! I strongly recommend her services. I fully intend to recommend her to my family and friends an d will be booking her for my wedding. Joe Pollard – May 2012
“Rebecca was the first photographer I found on the internet at midnight while I was doing some planning for the wedding. I loved her pictures on her website and contacted her. She was very quick in responding to my query. From day one of the booking till the end of the wedding, she did a brilliant job and created all the pictures, which are absolutely amazing and very natural. We were very lucky to have Rebecca as a photographer. She helped arrange the steam rail shots, which are really unique photos of our wedding.” Cho & Enio – Bride & Groom – April 2012
“We were so pleased when Rebecca agreed to be the photographer on our wedding day. Whereas in my experience, many photographers have a set idea of the photo they will take, Rebecca really listens to the type of photography you like, the shots you want included and thus, the outcome is superb
On the morning of my wedding she was discreet, meaning she got relaxed photos of even the shyest of us while we got ready. At the reception, she really captured the mood and emotions and has provided us with some wonderful memories to treasure. Weeks later, we did a ‘trash the dress’ photo shoot on Joss Bay beach which was fun and a chance to take the more casual shots.
If you are looking for an exceptionally talented yet flexible photographer for any occasion I would definitely recommend Rebecca. It’s unusual to be able to balance excellent photography with an unobtrusive nature, yet in Rebecca we found this. We are so pleased we chose her and every time we look at our photos we are reminded of what a happy day it was. We haven’t stopped raving about you – thanks Rebecca!!” Lydia – Bride – Dec 2011
“We have recently booked Rebecca to do our photography in July 2013. Although we haven’t had the wedding yet, I am really excited that Rebecca will be there to capture our day. From the first email, Rebecca has been genuinely enthusiastic and is fantastic at communicating and replying to any queries. The photos from other weddings on the website speak for themselves, her photography is beautiful. If you are looking for a photographer in Kent make sure you contact Rebecca, you won’t be disappointed! 07-May-2012, Laura rated Rebecca Douglas Photography fantastic!! 5/5 – comment on hitched.co.uk
“I was delighted with your calm and professional approach capturing the formal shots with speed, combining your eye for a memorable image to capture the atmosphere of the day in the more intimate pictures. Through your creativity combined with your technical skills we have a wonderful set of pictures to remember a truly amazing day. Pat – Mother of the Bride – Sept 2011
“We’re so glad we chose Rebecca to be our wedding photographer. Right from the first discussions she was hugely enthusiastic, helpful and organised. She really took all the pressure off us as she did all the work checking out the photo options/angles at the church and venue and even suggested convenient places in between the two locations to do additional pictures. We had a long chat about what we wanted for the day ane after that all we had to do pretty much was give her a list of specific group photos and she took care of the rest.
Aside from the posed pictures (which all turned out great) the candid photography was wonderful for catching relaxed moments during the reception, we barely noticed her but she must have been very busy considering how many photos there are. In contrast to this, when the guests needed organising to be in the right pictures at the right time she was also commanding enough that the posed pictures got done efficiently (just in time to run into the car as the rain got too heavy!).
Since the big day we’ve had a number of the guests comment on how good Rebecca was and everyone loves the pictures,. Most of our pi9vures are quite traditional as this is what we wanted but in the mix are also some more creative and artistic ones of the decorations, my dress and the barn we had the venue in. I especially love the pictures of the lanterns after the sun went down they look really romantic.
I don’t think we could have asked for anything more from the final pictures or Rebecca on the day. We’ll definitely be recommending Rebecca to all our friends in the future. Simply brilliant.” Kate –Bride October 2011

“As someone who is photo phobic due to being more familiar with being the other side of the camera, I cannot praise Rebecca enough for her patience and ability to put people at instant ease. Rebecca is incredibly selfless with her photography and is always consciously striving to achieve the images YOU desire. I was overwhelmed by the sheer quality and volume of the photography equipment and gadgetry in Rebecca’s collection that enable her to achieve such stunning imagery. Her professionalism, passion, and fun loving nature ensure you receive photos you can truly feel proud of. Thank you so much Rebecca for producing some lovely photos of self-conscious me!” Kirsty – Just You Portraiture – Feb 2012
“I had a fantastic photo session with Rebecca, and would highly recommend her. I’m normally camera shy, but Rebecca put me at east by creating a relaxed atmosphere with music, plus giving me a lot of direction to get the “money shot”. Her passion and enthusiasm for photography comes over straight away, is clearly reflected in the outstanding quality of work she produced. Thank you so much Rebecca; you have given me a set of photos I am truly proud of! Katy – Just You portraiture session – Oct 2011
“Rebecca, thank you so much for capturing the occasion so aptly and beautifully. The pictures are wonderful and will be treasured by the birthday girl for a long time to come. Your approach made a refreshing change – not invasive and drawn out as many photographers are – but relaxed, friendly and enjoyable. Once again thanks for making an 80 year old and her family very happy.” Helen – Family session – August 2011
“I’ve just been browsing your photos – I was really excited to see what you have done. It’s particularly good to have a selection of strongly graphic images to choose from since so much of the content defies obvious illustration. A nice range of moods, too, from sunny and upbeat to shadowy and enigmatic. This is exactly what we were hoping for – only better. Thank you so much. Adrian, Weald Ltd, Commercial Project – May 2011
“Performance Society hosted their first event at Canterbury Christ Church’s Student Union named “Stupid Cupid”, raising money for charity through performances and fun activities. We could not be more grateful to Rebecca for providing her Photo Booth service at the event. This concept attracted many guests to come to the event and before we knew it, the photo booth was crowded with students queuing to have some fun! It was so popular that students went back for more! That same night, Rebecca uploaded the photos to Facebook maintaining the hype of the event and wow, they are amazing. Great props, great back drop, great service! Students found the Photo Booth extremely entertaining and so I give Rebecca much praise for her hard work!
I feel the collaboration with Rebecca Douglas Photography has given both Performance Society and Rebecca an excellent inspiration and we would most certainly love to work with her again! May – Photo Booth – Feb 2011
